I have been a customer of OLA cabs for some quite time. They were decent earlier. But lately, they started adding few surcharges to the billing and their Services got detroited but surcharges keeps increasing. Now a days, I usually get to know many complaints for OLA. Few of them are:
Despite that decent number of cabs are available in the locality, they still charge 1.3 or 1.5 times the total fare. Looks like they did not understood the logic behind it but simply started charging the amount.
They have peak time charges applicable to customers. Reason, this will help OLA server customer better and efficiently. How? No Answer with OLA. They just want to charge, they are charging.
Now a days, Drivers confirmed with passengers that if Passenger is paying by OLA Money E-Wallet, they simply dont turn up. Reason? It takes up to 4 days for the money to get transfer from OLA Money to their account. So? They want to earn immediately, so dont pick the customer.
OLA Cabs claim that they have GPS installed in all of their cabs. But I couldnt find any whenever I travelled with them. I made a complaint to OLA many times. But always get same reply "We are sorry for the inconvinience caused. We will take your feedback seriously." Yeah. They are serious. But only towards earning more money and giving lame excuses.
Charges are bit on a higher side.
Overall, I only use them in case I am not getting any other option. Ok Sort of Service.
