Hi Friends,
In past few years I have lived across cities of Pune Mumbai and Bangalore also I am also a frequent visitor of Delhi.
All these places Ola provides service.
I have experienced hell lot of issues with OLA let it me mini, micro share or prime.
Majorly experienced once.
Driver has communication issue: Driver does not know the language and hence can't be guided.
Driver does not know how to use GPS.: HELL! driver knows only the regional language and their GPS navigation is available only in English.
Driver does not know Major city locations: Yes, I missed my flight because driver does not know where is domestic terminus of IGI.
Abusive drivers: If they ask you to cancel and say driver denied duty, they abuse you on call
They cancel the cab saying customer asked me to cancel: What I miss my timelines due to this crap at least once a week.
Driver denies to reach your location: they ask you statement like " madam traffic hai", "road achcha nahi hai", aapko main road pe aana hai to aao warna cancel karo, dimaag kharaab mat karo", In fact sometimes they deny to drop you at your drop location.
Not accepting OLA money.
They disregard GPS and your route both and follow longer route specially at night time.
4+1 in a ritz and indica making it a horrible experience.
And OLA auto is given convenience charge for reaching pickup location which they clearly deny.
And with all this when you call 33553355 or mark a complain, they have a fixed response.
We are sorry we will look into the issue and take strict action against driver.
But no reports of action taken are shared.
In fact no actions against such behavior is an act of indirect encouragement to drivers for repeating.
Please make sure of few more things:
If u lost something in cab, you will never get it back.
they deny to refund you once recharged OLA money( unlike other e wallets)
Any harassment during trip means they owe u a sorry(that to in a tone that shows Oh plz it's a part of my job)
In case using OLA is only option u have please ensure your own safety and ask your family to track location if u feel unsafe or something fishy. The service provider will not help you more than saying sorry.
