"I went through an incident today which will scar my life for ever. I booked OlaCabs from my TB Hospital and messaged driver my destination(Indirapuram) and payment mode(cash). The amount was around 609/- INR. The Driver came and I got inside. After some time, I requested him to turn on the A/C as it was very hot. He refused saying A/C was not working and after an argument, I told him stop and tried to get down. There precise evidence that where I got down was only 3 - 4 km from the pick-up. He started abusing me and told me to pay the amount which was 489/- INR. In my entire life, no has one has ever behaved with me in this manner. I have screenshots of all details. He abused and threatened me and I got afraid and also called police. Then after 30 minutes, Ola sent a vehicle. By this time, Police had arrived and passer-byes had also started supporting me. Staff from my Hospital also came after knowing of my ordeal. The Police co-operated and told me to go into the other OLA. When the ordeal was over, I broke into tears as I could not believe such wickedness and worst the connivance of the OlaCabs. I reached home shaken and terrified. The OlaCab which took me home was a good one and I paid him 550 INR with tip of 50 INR. I have collected a bundle of 100 and 50 rupee notes and after any trip, I try to pay extra to the best of my capacity which is not much but drops make an ocean.
My personal transactions do not require such small notes but I have been doing since the Pandemic started.
Had it not been a busy place, I believe the driver would have assaulted me. He used such foul language. No one has spoken to me so in my entire life. he used "Tu" "Tera" very frequently.
My only requests to you are:
OlaCabs is taking 610 INR for 26.3 kms. Is A/C NOT required? Temperatures are 40 degrees. Is it a fair trade practice?
If a customer gets out at 3 km due to heat, is he bound to pay the entire amount? 609-120=489(120 is MCD tax.). Hence, any fool who enters the furnace of OlaCabs can only get out after paying the full pay.
Is OlaCabs hiring drivers without checking their criminal records. This man was certainly a criminal. Please check his name(which is not any name), aadhar no. and his past criminal record. Ola's Drivers are notorious for misdemeanor and their are several complaints against them online.

This is not a trivial issue as such actions deteriorate to murder and rape(in case of woman) if unchecked.
I have full faith in you and I fully believe you will strong action not only against the driver but also redeem your company OlaCabs. I am also sending you the resolution provided by OlaCabs without my consent since the issue is far from resolved.
