Many many years ago television meant programs on agriculture, adult education and the like.The few serials that happened were not worth the eyeballs they naturally commanded.Then, after the national network appeared some brilliant serials happened.

There was the epic-like 'Hum Log', the colossal 'Buniyaad' and of course the laugh riot 'Dekh Bhai Dekh'.Things were progressing well when satellite television arrived at our doorstep.In its wake came a flurry of 'soaps', some saas-bahu dramas which all had more or less the same thing to say.Thus creativity was thrown out of the proverbial window.I am not suggesting that SAB has been able to change the situation.But comedy seems to be its area of expertise.And the world over comedy seems to be getting more popular by the day.Thus it can be said that comedy serials like 'Office Office' represents the future of indian tv.But, to the serial itself.

This is a serial that explores office situations, particularly sarkari ones.The aggrieved is always called Musaddi played by Pankaj Kapur.The other workers in the office behave as they are known to.Thus there is the domineering boss, the over-friendly bearer looking for extra income.There is the multitasking lady and the scheming clerk.The comedy is always subtle and intelligent.The situations are quite true to life.All in all, its a great way to spend your evening
