Oberon Mall is a welcome addition to the shopping experience in Cochin - It is comparable to Malls overseas in terms of design, grandeur, tennant mix etc. One can see the excitement of the shoppers and window shoppers, people learning to ride escalators and also see some of the shops go through their learning experience of taking orders, processing, queing up and delivering, particularly in the food court.
A word of caution - from my personal experience at the chicken fast food outlet. (forgot the name - the 1st shop as you enter the food court). I took my 2 kids 7 and 3 years old + my 2 neices 8 and 6 on the evening of Sat 27th June and got them kids meal (Chicken piece + fries) I also had some bites of the meal. We also met 2 classmates of my neice in the foodcourt (who apparently had the same meal)
To keep the long story short.; 2 of my kids who went overseas that night + 2 of my neices and myself included go upset stomatch and vomitting. My neice's claasmates also is learnt to have the same trouble. We had heard of similar experience from our family friend whose 2 kids had same trouble a couple of weeks ago - but we threw the caution in the wind and indulged in part-taking the kids meal to end up with an upset stomatch.
Anyone got similar experience??
