AKIRA(1916) fell flat on it's release despite being a woman-centric movie. This one is same. BEGUM JAAN was bad. This one is worst.
Making faces and twitching facial muscles and coordinating these movements is certainly not acting!
NOOR is based on Pakistani writer Saba Imtiaz's debut novel KARACHI, YOU ARE KILLING ME!(2014). Saba received kudos for her writing. She may've a'light' heart attack after watching this debacle and that is just putting it'lightly'.
After watching this, Shatru sir'll definitely say, "Khaamosh!"
Sona is no Salman Khan that one eagerly waits for TUBELIGHT. She is not in the league to carry a movie on her fragile shoulders. Last year was lesson enough. This year its disaster repeat.
NOOR may mean Divine Light but this one may not end up with lighting the BO but'll lighten the collections.
A journalist on the trail of a crime thriller! Just this line is enough to excite. But the excitement remains in the words merely. On-screen it is psst. Sona is trying hard to(what!) but till the end, it is what(WTF!) only. Can a woman today do this in real life! Highly unimaginable. Men journos'll back off.
Alas! Those days of UMRAO JAAN, KHOOBSURAT, et al r almost over. Fond memories.
Once, l could say, "Go for gold Sona". Sona has taken her name too seriously that she forgot to act. Go lightly Sona.
Losing weight and losing collections have the same momentum if not carefully planned.
Between No or Yes, u'll definitely wonder why was this'light' shown the light of the day and didn't remain in the cans.
Is Noor se raho Door.
Yeh nahin hai MashHoor.
Movie hai bahut Poor.
Maza nahin like in dal Toor.
