I had a tough and horrible time using the Motorola android Fire XT 311(Read review of the same) and had to change immediately.
This is a good phone considering the price, upmarket looks and decent features and superb build quality. Its built tough and it feels with a metallic back cover, chrome plated edges which look good and built to last feel of buttons of qwerty key pad.
It is better than most budget android phones(below 10, 000/-) as it has a very fast 1 ghz processor . Its a delight to surf on the net now. This is leaps ahead than previous E - series phones when it comes to responsiveness and downloading pictures, whatsapping and other data. Using facebook is a little slow. But fine.
For basic net surfing this is it.
Note that speed enhances with wi fi connectivity.
Like all Nokia phones the user interface is very simple and familiar to use. Thus this is an easy on the go phone without any complications. The phone has a fast and acceptable processor. Overall its a continuation of most other Nokia phones.
Camera - Picture quality is good in daylight conditions
quality but mediocre in the dark. Nothing offensive. Good.
Sound quality is good, the equalizers need a little adjusting. However I use Samsung earphones which sound really good and are so affordable(300/ - only) as the stock ones by Nokia are sub standard and cheap. The songs are sorted out to playlists which make it convenient to search. This basic function is surprisingly missing in some other phones in the range.
Battery life is good - A full charge lasts 2 and a half days with about 1.5 hours of listening to music and half hour of net usage in a day. Acceptable. Charging takes quite some time.
Network reception is just okay. Sometimes I have to dial a number twice. I can never contact someone on the first dial.
Gaming etc: The phone has the general games like sudoku and some interesting racing types too. However there is a problem as one needs to connect to the net every time one has to play, usually they have multiplayers and there is some difficulty in loading the files. I am not a gaming buff so thats fine.
Initially the phone used to overheat and hang specially when deleting pictures, media, messages, but that was promptly rectified at the service center. I was impressed by their professionalism, service and customer satisfaction. Nokia wins it loyal customers here.
The phone is built to a price. Not fancy. But wont fail you either. Ticks all the boxes right and will serve a long way. A good no nonsense phone.
