I was using the 6210 before I switched to the 6610. The phone has more bells, whistles and pictures than any other I saw earlier. You can send and receive multimedia (MMS) messages but you need to attach an external camera. Compact and light, the battery only runs 2 days compared to the 5 days of the 6210. Writing sms is easier thanks to the 4 way navigation key but reception indoors is not the best. The 300 name phone book memory and ''floating share'' logic of the available memory (the memory is shared between different applications instead of a fixed allotment to each application) is very useful.
The software responds faster but the small buttons are not so convenient if you happen to have large fingers. There is a big improvement in the games available and my favourite is the chess quiz.
Good if you like to show off among friends or must have always the latest but functionally you are far better off with a 6210 or 6310 (if you need GPRS).
