I bought the Nokia 6300 more than 6 months back after a complete "love at first sight. And I can assure you that this is the best phone that I have ever owned.
The battery life is pretty reasonable - anything between 1 - 2 days depending on the usage. The photograph/ picture quality is awesome. For me , it was very essential that my phone offers a good picture quality as I keep taking pictures every day and actually develop them. I was so happy when the pictures taken through my phone could actually be blown up and yet offer such beautiful clarity.
The music and sound quality is really good. What is more is that you can store so many mp3 that it is almost like an ipod. The flight mode in the phone makes this music accessible to you even when you are airborne in a flight.
Work wise it offers you the regular calendar, notes etc which are the regular nokia features. The GPRS function allows you to browse and download from the net at ease.
I really could not have asked for more - carrying the phone makes me feel really stylish and the features are fun.
I would recommend this phone to anyone who wants all of the above combination in one.
