HMD Global, which is the name of Nokia Brand, has launched Nokia 3.1 Plus, after its Nokia 6.1 Plus, its new smartphone, Nokia 3.1 Plus. It is a budget smartphone priced at Rs 11, 499, which is available in Blue, White, and Battalion color. Today we will review the Nokia 3.1 Plus and learn about its strengths and shortcomings.
Design
Looks like Nokia 3.1 plus smartphones look strong and big size. Looking at its internal metal structure, it is clear that this high-end phone will also prove it. The phone has a 6-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 18: 9. The viewing experience of its big screen is quite good. Thin Chin and Side Bezel are given in the phone screen. Nokia's phone does not have a Nokia, which is a negative point for this because the other phones of this segment such as Shammi and Reali have been introduced with the Nokia Display. The earpiece at the top of the screen and the front camera without LED flash is given.
The display
Nokia 3.1 Plus has a 6-inch HD+ IPS display. Also, 2.5D K-award Glass has been used. While watching the video on the big screen, its color and contrast are quite good. Overall, this phone gives you a good viewing experience. In this phone, the brightness of the screen according to the indoor and outdoor setting automatically disappears. Even though its brightness is 100%, it is not enough. That is why there is a problem in working daylight. Its touch is quite smoother than the other phones. Despite having a dual speaker, the sound quality is not as loud as it should be.
Performance
Nokia 3.1 Plus has a MediaTek Helio P22 OctaR processor with 2 GB of RAM. There is 16 GB internal storage which can be extended up to 400 GB via microSD card. Talking about the operating system, it runs on Android Oria. The phone is better for light use, but once the phone is heavy, its level of performance decreases. It may be difficult to switch from one app to another. For a long time using the phone, it becomes hot too. It's a big drawback to be overheating the phone. This Android phone has some important apps that give RAM a little bit free, now that the space of the RAM is free, the performance also gets better. But as we said beforehand that it is correct to play a light game, but when heavy work is done, it starts down.
The camera
The phone has a dual rear camera setup with a 5-megapixel secondary monochrome sensor with aperture F / 2.0, PDAF lens, 13 megapixels primary and aperture F / 2.4. Users can refocus later on pictures taken from the rear camera. A 8-megapixel front camera with an aperture F / 2.2 for selfie and video in the phone has been given. It also has features such as live box effect, slow motion, time lapse, and background blur effects. We took a few pictures from it, and we can say that its color quality and contrast is good.
Battery
A 3500mAh battery is given to power the smartphone. There is no fast charging support given in this. It takes at least 2 hours for this phone to charge fully. The company says that once full charge it can be operated for 2 days. But we found in the review that the phone can be operated easily for 2 days, but one day can be easily run.
Our decision
The Nokia 3.1 Plus, which has a price of Rs 11, 499, is competing with smartphones such as xiaomi Mi A2, Asus Janphone Max Pro M1 and Realm 2 Pro. However, compared to the other phones in this segment, there is a lot of missing in Nokia. Nor is it a Nokia or Face Unlock feature. To strengthen its grip once again in the Indian market, Nokia needs to do better than 3.1 plus in this segment.
