Ok, we know the rules while going for a mindless comedy. No expectation of any story, doesn't ask questions, just relax and enjoy. You will be served the same old story in new packages and just enjoy the show and don't act brave - but wait a minute...No Problem have everything what it is told in the formula - then, there are glimpses of good satire at times and a kind of art touch in writing here and there.

A bagful of precious diamonds are stolen on gun point by Super Don Marcos (Sunil Shetty) under instruction and with a promise to share the goods stolen. Petty thief Raj (Akshay Khanna) and social worker cum gem of a thief Yash (Sanjay Dutt) steals the public village bank operating in South Africa by Zandulal (Paresh Rawal). Zandulal get to know that the Yash & Raj are hiding in Durban and determine to capture them at any cause. The minister for whom Marcos done the diamond operation is taking his leisure in Durban as well and evading Marcos for some time now. Marcos lands in Durban to claim his share in that diamond. Inspector Arjun Singh is the police inspector of Durban who wants to do great things to prove to his wife Kajal (Sushmita Sen) that he is a real hero, where she married him mistaking to a hero and cannot accept the fact that he actually is not. Welcome to Durbar of confusions.

As you can already assume, there is absolutely nothing new in the storyline. However, situations are nicely created even with its overdose of repeated confusions. Dialogues are ok. Direction is strictly ok, but it could have been better. Climax could have been better. The director tried to create a De Dana Dan kind of climax but didn't get the desired result. Satire woven in the movie here and there needed a bit more better treatment which the director it seems failed to focus. Neverthless, Anees Bazmee follow the rule book strictly for a mindless film.

Anil Kapoor steals the show once again in a multi starrer. Paresh Rawal & Sanjay Dutt did their roles well. Akshay Khanna too impress, where his girl avatar was cool (Best of luck for a role in Dostana II, if in making. Lol!!) Sunil Shetty got a good role and the action hero shines. Sushmita Sen rocks in a well knitted and directed 'mad' wife role. Kangna Ranaut tried her hand on comedy and she didn't disappoint (the make up saving scene is hilarious). Neethu Chandra is ok (And she deserved better than Gorillas...!). Rest of the cast is adequate.

Cinematography is ok. It could have been better. Choice of bright colours would have been better than the 'black' presence. Also, output on screen is not looking that good.

Songs are good and choreography is colourful (skin).

It is not easy to keep people engaged in a comedy over an extended length especially when they start it from the scene one. 15 minutes from the film's length could have been trimmed without losing much of content and overall affect would have been better.

The film and its director with writers need applaud for presenting one or more fine messages in between. The character played by Vijay Raaz, representing the Humanity is so effective in those few scenes. The sub plot's conclusion made a more than life meaning to an otherwise mindless film. When I think back to the film and its characters on a hope given by the avatar of humanity, I was pleasantly surprised to see that I failed to recognise the implications of characters and its directions while watching the film. It is not accidental that Paresh Rawal's character marries to a foreigner and having children of all colours. The track gets its height when the film ends with a note that he got another child which looks like Chinese. The character definitely clues to Imperialism in style and approach. There are more thoughtful characters and situations in the film if we are ready to look beyond the mad run. However, don't ever think that the movie is going to be serious for these tracks where the entire treatment is as mad as possible.

No Problem is a situational comedy which tries too much and didn't disappoint too much. A light entertainer in style and approach, the movie fit into the formula of comedies where one can go without the burden of thinking and relax for few hours.
