I Still Look The Same Yet.... Review on Nivea Total Clean Up

Well, this is all girly stuff and I am past that phase long back. Nor do I have the knack or time for a daily self grooming regimen. Yet, I have always been prone to this irrepressible urge to try out whatever that's new on the shelf.

This time it was the big, fat tube of Nivea Total Face Clean Up that attracted my attention for many reasons:

( 1) 5-in-1 package - wash/scrub/pack/oil-remover/spot-reducer. Voila!

( 2) Easy to use. Quite hassle-free. Can be used daily.

( 3) Applicable for all skin types - normal to oily.

( 4) Available in a handy tube. Just slip-it-into-your-purse type.

( 5) Reasonably priced - 150 ml for Rs.199/-( Myntra price)

( 6) Nivea is one of my favorite brands - time tested. Old is Gold.

How To Use?

Very simple.

Face Wash - Wet your face, gently apply a coat to face and neck avoiding the eyes. Rinse off well with water.

Face Scrub - Massage it in upward circular motion on moistened face focusing on the forehead, nose and chin. Wash clean.

Face-Pack  - Lightly apply on face avoiding the eyes. Leave it for 3-5 minutes to dry. Rinse off with lukewarm water.( Well I went off to snooze with the pack on and several hours later cleaned off the chipped layers with normal tap water.and I am still there) .

What does it do?

Nivea claims the following:

1.Its cleansing elements deep cleanses the skin impurities.

2.Its peeling particles unclog the pores and purify skin from blackheads.

3.Used as a pack, it refines skin's appearance and supports perfect complexion.

4.Its anti-bacterial formulation helps fight spot causing bacteria and gives visibly pure skin.

5.Due to its mild formula, its soft and gentle on the skin.

6.Enriched with active magnolia extracts it provides 5 benefits for pure and clear skin.

What I Endorse?

1.It is surely soft and gentle on the skin.

2.As a mild face wash, its good for daily use.

3.As face scrub, it does remove those dark patches that you gather on the skin being exposed to daily grime and pollutants.

4.As a face pack, it tightens the skin to some extent and de-tans the face as well.

5.Since, I do not have particularly oily skin, I cannot vouchsafe its efficacy as an oil remover.

6.Ditto for spot-reducer. I have not focused on this aspect much either.

Above all, as I have said in the beginning, getting all five benefits in one pack is far more economical than buying five different products for five different uses.

What You Should Not Expect?

Now, now, don't let your imagination run wild with that. Its not a life changer remedial for all maladies as it portends to be. I still look the same y' know and the fine lines down the lashes are very much my own and shall remain so. Age, as we all know, does leave its tell-tale marks on the face. And the face is the index of your mind, remember? So, beauty is as ephemeral as the weather. And inner peace, happiness and beauty are the greatest and dearest adornments of all times.

But to be true to myself and to my pen I shall definitely recommend this product to all those female friends who like me do not have much time to spend before the mirror yet want to look presentable. Or more honestly, who do not care much how they look yet feel skin care is part of daily hygiene, should definitely give it a try.

Its super saver, value for money, gentle on the pocket and visage and reasonably effective if you are not expecting an ugly duckling to turn into a graceful swan overnight!
