Nish is a Chinese restaurant located on August Kranti Marg
near Kemps corner. The quality of food at this restaurant
is very good. The menu provides for authentic Chinese
dishes from various provinces of China. It also has some
Thai dishes on its menu.
The service in this restaurant is good and their menu is
well laid out offering various dishes under soups, seafood,
poultry, pork, lamb, noodles and rice and vegetarian headings.
The interiors of the restaurant are fairly good with a touch
of Chinese decor.
The size of the helpings are fairly large more than what one
or two persons can eat. It is therefore desirable to go in a
group of at least four so that a few dishes can be eaten.
On weekdays there is no need to reserve a table beforehand
but on weekends it is advisable to book a table in advance
otherwise you may have to wait upto half an hour to get a
table. Valet parking is available but I would advise not to
use the service as on two occasions my car was damaged while
being parked by the valet. Sufficient space is available in
Forgett street nearby.
I stay close by and frequently visit this restaurant.
My favourite dishes are chicken wanton soup, pan fried
chicken noodles, vegetable fried rice and prawns in oyster
sauce. The average cost of a meal is Rs. 250/- to Rs. 300/-
per head.
A very good restaurant for Chinese food at reasonable
prices.
