To achieve anything in life one has to dream, it is process of creating a destination. Having a dream is one thing, believing, protecting and working towards achieving it is a different ball game all together. Sometimes people fail to achieve their dreams and end up doing everything they can to see their children get to their dreams, this is a story of one such mother.
I have rarely seen such feel good movies in Bollywood and compared to the stupid 100 crore club movies these days, this is a breath of fresh air. This movie Directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari is wonderful from the start to its end, I could hardly find any fault in the movie. No just the story but the way it is depicted makes the movie a must watch, after seeing this you might easily relate to your parents struggles to get you to where you have been, it would have ideally been a great gift for Parent's day.
Unlike the bollywood movies of today which thrives itself on too much glamour and every other thing except acting, this movie creates no fuss, it is simple, a great story told in a brilliant way. Each scene hits the right notes and takes you through a plethora of emotions. Brilliant Debut for the debutante director. Ratna Pathak was always a gem, Swara Bhaskar managed to up he ante with this movie, this is in fact her first movie as lead actress and it is impressive to see the youngster Ria Shukla perfect her role.
A complete family movie, a must watch. My rating 5/5
