Since  the reviews were very encouraging I decided to buy it  as on diwali it was just 11500 with a cashback of  15% after 3  months

My main motive was to buy an inexpensive point and shoot camera that could record video in full HD ie 1920x 1080 p

I was pleasantly surprised to find I was also gifted a provogue watch as a part of  the festive offer .

Other accessories included apart from the main camera  were 2  camera straps, 8 AA batteries, 4 of  them being rechargeable coolpix batteries and rest 4  duracell  for one time use .

The 16 megapixel camera  did a decent jobs with half of  the pics I clicked but the rest half did not focus well  .

My main purpose to buy the camera was  to capture videos for  my Youtube channel, but the videos are too fuzzy and grainy under normal indoor  lighting . Even the colours came out duller I thought .

The objects frequently lose focus . especially when one uses  the zoom feature, the camera has  38x  optical zoom btw .

Allow me the liberty to attach a couple of pics . Infact I tried and failed, I guess  it's because of   mouth shuts size to upload  restriction .

You may also watch the full hd video capture in a youtube video for my channel - with a video titled - " Does incredio shake-a-meal actually work? Thoughts after finishing 2 500gms Jars"

I also found  that it was very difficult to close  the battery compartment and a lot of pressure had to be used . Every time I felt I would end up breaking the compartment .

To transfer pics I had always open the battery chamber and remove the lexion SDHC 8 GB card which was also a freebie . Again to charge the batteries I had  to remove  the batteries physically and use  the charger that was a part of  the package .

With a full charge the no of  pics that can be clicked are about 500- 700 and  the maximum size for  the video  recording is 30 minutes .

The video recording is full hd  at 25/ 30 fps

The zoom feature works  well but the auto focus while zooming can be either too slow or  doesn't work at all .

The camera's anti shake feature is  very ordinary and a tripod  seems like a "must " .

Bundled with the camera  also came a micro hdmi cable  / an AV cable and / usb to micro usb cable .

the camera is  quite heavy and  made my arms  very tired in no time . It's quite bulky and the portability is poor . The 3  inch screen  is retractable and can be titled or set at angles .

The menu options are very simple and uncomplicated . The audio captured has a bigger than expected bass and its irritating as  there is a loss to  the audio quality . The audio kind of booms and isn't clear .

The camera has wifi and NFC features which come to save its narrow neck . The overall experience was average and I would be returning it back to amazon India tomorrow, a request to do so was created earlier .

since  my main purpose was full hd  recording which was only a tad better than my mobile phone I can only rate  the camera 2  upon 5
