Planned a short ride and trek after the main trek got cancelled due to rains.
Place is simple and short, very ill maintained. There is a temple and a mosque at the top. Temple side one can easily spot polythene and agarbatti covers, plastic and glass bottles. On the other side you will find bones and feathers. Also expects loads of monkeys, specially after 10 AM(coincidentally that's when most aam janta starts climbing)
Families generally visit this place to do pooja, followed by picnic and ultimately the "garbage donation part.
Location: It's on tumkur highway, if you are travelling from bangalore you will find Kamath hotel on left, followed by Cafe Coffee Day. The hill on the left is Nijagal Betta, and can be reached by crossing the railway track. There is underbridge 100 meter from of Coffee day.
