Nicco park is the oldest amusement park in Kolkata. It is located near Chingrihata crossing off the EM Bypass road towards Salt lake and very close to Sector 5. Nicco Park serves multiple purpose - a joy for children, a calm and peaceful picnic spot for elders and an adventure and fun filled destination for lively youth.
I went to the place 6 weeks ago when I was holidaying at home. All my younger cousins asked me to take them out and the choice was unanimous amongst them. We reached at 11.30 AM in the morning in order to make sure that we enjoy all the rides and have ample time to relax and eat as well. We bought a band worth Ride. To infuse some energy, we had a quick lunch followed by ice cream/juices. The saga continued and we boarded the toy train, moon raker, columbus, flying saucer and many more. Eventually by 7 PM we were able to experience all the rides.
I will definitely visit the park again sometime later. It is worth the money that I spent. A very good option to get rid of all the worries and re-live the childhood.
