Newfeel and more specifically'new feel many' was an impulse buy that has done wonders for me. The shoe has a small but important role in my current morning walk routine. The shoe are pair of lightweight, cheap yet durable shoes designed for walking. I bouht them as a filler on another purchase, it was aslo the time my lifestyle was getting less active and I was thinking on doing something about it. The shoe cae shoe me in and I decided to run and has been doing so for nearly two years now.
The is pretty famous in the online market, sticks that came up in myntra and flipkart quickly went out. It got fame mainly because of the looks and durability it offered at the price point. Currently stocks aren't that readily available. It has also spawned a number of imitators, globalite walking shoe being the most notable.
The point that makes it differ is its construction. Most running shoes have a outer sole and a midsole glued together and outer sole is made of rubber of similar material. The mid sole houses the technology that provides cushioning. But here the mid sole is absent. There is just a flexible plastic outer which glued or stitched to the upper which is made of nylon cloth mesh and almost nothing else. This design is what gives it the snug fit and light weight.
The portion which gives the cushioning is the in sole. It is thick and soft and is sufficient for walking. And I mainly run on the beach in the sand, so it is good for that too.
Pros:Like I mentioned it offers a snug fit and is light weight, and I almost like walking barefoot or just with socks and at the same time it provides protection from the elements and sufficient cushioning.
Next is durability, I have been using this for nearly two years and the only portion that has seen wear is the insole, but it still has juice to last for over a year.
Cost efficiency is what made the shoe famous, although the, material is not the best, but for the quality it offers the cost of around 600 is a great deal and discounts are available.
Last but not least the design and looks are also good too.
They are also a good option for a gym shoe.
Cons: This shoe is designed for walking, even though I run, I run on the beach and the shoe may not have sufficient cushioning to run on harder surfaces.
An even more serious problem when running on harder surfaces is grip. It offers the same grip as beach sandals.
Next is not a con as such, but if someone is buying it just for looks and the cost beware, the shoe is designed for running and with snug fit it offers it would look out of place with anything but a tracksuit.
In shortthese are great shoes for someone who goes on a walk. But evn after three yeras from introduvtion into market stocks ar not readily avalable. And whenever stocks comes they sell out immediately. Whatever the problem is in marketing I hope they solve it soon
