Let us start with the buying process. I had to ask in at least 5 shops before I found one stocking NetKracker CDs. I guess Wipro needs to increase the product distribution.
Once, I got the CD, registration was simple and quick. I did not use the Helpline ever.
90% of the time, I get connected on the first ring and speeds are decent (1.4kbps to 1.8kbps).
Once, my account got exhausted, a customer service representative called up and fixed an appointment to replenish/ recharge the account.
The main disadvantage of NetKracker is that the service is not available in many cities. NetKracker is available only in Metros. My benchmark here is Satyam.
Another problem - if you use Outlook Express or MS Outlook, the outgoing mail server of netKracker does not support any mailbox other than NetKracker. So your mails from yahoo! or hotmail cannot be sent from the smtp server of NetKracker.
