I had the bitter experience of finding that after about a month of not using, the coffee powder inside the Nescafe bottle had solidified and with a thin film of fungi, rendered useless. Instead of the Re 1 0.8g pack, I had bought the Rs.69/- 50g bottle, which made it easy to reach out and make a cuppa. That means, I had already paid about 10% more, for a convenience, but because of the bad quality of the cap (it never sits comfortably like the earlier Nescafe bottle cap used to.
Was it bad design? Bad material? Anywhich way, as a consumer, I felt short-changed. Is Deepika Padukone aware of these issues with the brand she is endorsing? Anyway, I included her name so more people will read this when I put it up in mouthshut.com!
