Neeli Chatri Wale is a comedy serial being aired on Zee TV at 9pm on weekends. From last couple of episodes, the Saturday telecast has been put off.
The story of this program is about a common man Bhagwandas, who respects traditions and values. He usually suffers humiliation from his boss and one day when he is very upset, and wants to pelt stones at a tree having Shiva's little temple on other side, Shiva(Shivay in this program) appears before him dressed like humans. Bhagwandas does not initially considers Shivay to be Shiva but when he actually realizes the thruth, both become good friends.
Every episode finds Bhagwandas in some problem and Shivay appearing and asking him to listen to his soul's voice and take decision accordingly.
Yashpal Sharma(who was villain in Gangajal and police inspector in Rowdy Rathore) played Bhagwandas in earlier episodes.
He has now been replaced by Rajesh Kumar(who played Subodh Thakkar in Baa Bahoo Aur Baby).
Both have been good actors.
Himanshu Soni as Shivay is very impressive character.
