NEC is the leading Monitor producing company in world. Japanese products always have upper hand over the other products in the market and if companies like Sony & NEC involved there is no harm in getting that product. Advancement in the technology has also increased the competition in the market. With this we get the best of the products and with every coming product some added features. In India it is slightly difficult to change your monitor after year or so as financial problems surround us all the time, but in other parts of world specially in developed countries this device is advised not to be kept for more than 2 years as it start evolving more harmful radiations and affect health badly.
How Do I Get This Device?
As I live in USA so I also got opportunity to change my PC’s monitor frequently and in last four years I have changed 7 monitors. I use to visit many school shows and aware of every upcoming product and its operation and working with qualities. With every upcoming technology my greed increases for a new monitor so I had by chance bought NEC Xtra view.
How do I found NEC?
I had never used before any NEC product but after using this I am sure that their all product are laced with high quality. Picture Quality is amazing and I had never seen before such picture from any Monitor. The colour schemes provided are not present in any other monitor. It is compatible device. I used the monitor for more than 100 hours and it work very well. In these 100 hours I have used it for consecutive 28 hours and not for a single second it was switched off its working never differed till I replaced it due to introduction of new product in the market.
Xtra Features
The Xtra feature in this monitor is Touchscreen and it is very useful and crazy at the same time.
Useful in a manner that when you touch screen and results appears in seconds you become so happy that it can only be experienced not explained in words. It is not a very new technology but for general public it is now in reach after paying a handsome amount. Time consumption is very low if you can access MY COMPUTER through mouse in 0.01 seconds then you can do it through Touchscreen in 0.001 seconds so it is ten times more effective in saving time then through a normal mouse function :)
Crazy in a sense that after frequent use the sensors are damaged. After few month usage when you damage the sensors and the cursor play with you on screen all the joy you have experienced become a grief and first thing come in your mind is the amount you paid for it and it is now wasted in few months. Your headache increases and BP it rises to sky and you can even got mad in case you lose the receipt of the monitor and moreover the warranty card also placed in the envelope which contain the receipt your position will get more thin.
Climax
Now you are beating your head what are you reading so I tell you this is my experience that all have done to myself and lost the warranty card as well as the receipt fortunately the computer dealer was father’s friend and allow us to change the monitor and then I got my 6th monitor. Which later I changed due to bad picture quality and now have my 7th monitor which I bought only due to its Pink Body but unfortunately it is not a good one. I am planning to change it soon.
Purchasing Decision
About NEC it is no doubt having the best picture resolution and quality but touch screen technology failed to work as it has many drawbacks. My recommendation for people is to have it only if you have enormous amount of money and after reading review your greed arose to use new technology. If you are in India, forget to buy it is not affordable at all. Not in means that you cant have the purchasing power but due to the less life time. So I say it Highly risky Product with low return. Wise decision is to skip the idea to have this product.
