I was eagerly waiting for the movie and this friday I went and watched it. I was excited to see Meera after watching her in the promos on TV. And only after 30 minutes or so into the movie I lost interest. Well the reasons are the script, the direction, the pace and the under-developed plot.

The Movie itself: Nothing much to talk about except the theme though not original. I can summarise it as a slow paced thriller in which a serial killer is being chased. Remember the wonderful 'Minority Report' from Spielberg and the concept of future cop and precrime, well on the same lines though Indianised and not that futuristic here we have our very own heroine of the movie that is helping the cop ( the hero and the party ) to catch the killer and to stop the murders before they happen. How does she know about them, hmm........, she's got ESP, the extra sensory perception. And after a series of murders and chases, hold your breath, its her turn ! She saw herself being murdered and she should help the cop to catch the murderer before its too late. Sounds interesting ? Yes, the theme is good but the script and direction lacks the crisp required for such a thriller. The story has been muffed by the script writer which could have been a lot better with the theme being good. Story has the supernatural element whereby Meera is able to see things ahead of time but incidents are not properly linked and investigation part is not very interesting. Samay was a good example of investigation and this one is just straight forward. And it seems that the director, debutant Soni Razdan forgot that she's making a thriller and the pace should be maintained to come up with an edge of the seat entertainer. The movie drags itself towards the end though the good part is that the killer when finally been traced out is a sort of shock for the viewer. But lot of drama occur before the movie actually ends, and thats quite boring. Last but not the least, there was a lot of controversy about a few sequences but it seems they have been edited out and the flesh has not been flashed on the screen. This is quite a surprise because remember that the movie is from the bhatt camp and when they're dishing out hot non-veg dishes off late continuously how come this one is pure veg and without salt ? Also what puzzles me is whats for censor has given it an A certification ?

The cast: Ashmit is no good an actor. And don't know who advised him for such a pathetic hair style to spoil it more. Meera is hot. This lady has got the looks and also the talent, look out for her voice also, wonderful. But I will blame the director for not using her properly. Specially in the second half she's crying and screaming all the time. Koyal purie and Aly khan overacted and rest can be ignored.

Music n the Music Videos: Few songs are good. Anu malik always delivers a few good one to bhatts. Picturisation is good for few of them. But to be frank, most of them are wrongly placed and are only retarding the already slow paced movie.

Conclusion: Don't go for it. Wait till its up on the cable and may be over there you can invest your 140 minutes.
