National geographic channel is one of the renowed information channel in the world, but I dont know why, In india they do not telecast there greatest shows like new season of cosmos.
Entertainment value of national geographic channel is decreasing day by day. They are now try to become lifestyle channel fro. Being entertainment channel. Shows like national geographic photographer is evidince of this. They should focus on informational contents that are diverse in value like documentary, space, social etc.
Variety of programs is very poor. You will only find science of stupid all the time on this channel. Also, there is one show brain games which is so monotonous that at times it gets boring. This are the only two shows you will find on this channel and therefore, the variety of programs are poor.
This channel do contain some host of the programs such as Manish on science of stupid. But it is not something, for which you will watch that show. Infact, at times it become irritating. I do not think there are any great host anymore on this channel
