If you are seeking engineering in nagpur university then STOP.
First of all the progress report of university on its website is just documetry. You feel many flow after taking admission. Hence I leave this university in 2011.
The syllabus is not aggressive if you read the diploma syllabus then you feel its like a doing same stuff.
Mainly teacher staff is not compatible. They just give marking if they feel to give.
Some times you write song in paper and you will get out of marks. So according to me staff and administration should responsible for quality education. Which is not in nagpur university.
Academic programme is university for other branches like commerce, science, arts, mba are very good comparing to engineering student. They have very low work on syllabus so get more time for these kind of things.
If we are tiking to extracellular programme are good in university hence they show that university is conducting much more for students but it just a illusion. Alumni is good just for show off. Otherwise they don't get the students.
And mainly job placements are very poor. They introduce many more companies but companies need good employment not just busch of illiterate students. So you get that what I want to say.

1) looking for quality education of any branch just leave this university.
2) just want to degree without any work the university is wating for you.
3) want fun with learning like extra activities so here is the university for you.
4) job placement are not good here try somewhere els.
