Dance with me. Review on Nach Baliye

10 Mashhur jodiya aur 1 Anokhi Jang. This show stole hearts of quite a few of us and managed to meet expectation. The kind of show put up was the first time in history of TV , so did a wonderful job. Its my pleasure to write review on ‘Nach Baliye’

I am writing a review based strictly on my views and not only on the dance performances. I used to watch the behind the scenes as well, hence my views could be bit ‘Different’

Let me start with the concept. 10 celebrities are here to dance. Chorographers are here to set them dance well. Prize money is huge as 50 lacs for the jodi no 1 and 20 lacs for Choreographer no 1.

Judges in order of my preference

Saroj Khan: She did a wonderful job by judging the dance performances and chorography as well. She did admire , criticize, whistle and danced.

Farah Akhar: The sort of intelligent judge here. His comments were too good , especially the way to did present his comments

Malaika: What’s was she doing here. can she dance well? My view is NO. She can show off her body well while dancing which most of us take as her great dancing. I did not think she deseverd to be judge of lot better people than her. She should better stick to showing off her body anywhere and everywhere.

Now the Jodi’s in order of the elimination:

1. Mansi and Rohit Roy: They are cute couple in my first look. Believe their daughter is cutest. All in all they make good family. However in case of dance, they were the Weakest link and They got eliminated first. Mansi has no rhythm in her body though Rohit is lot better dancer than other male dancers.

   
   




2. Sai and Shakti : They are good dancers however they got out earlier than I expected. May be voting. Both make a good couple together and they look very happy with each other. Dancing was average though could have been improved if given chance

   
   




3. Manini and Mihir : A bit of Odd pair. To me manini looked manly and mihir feminine. Manini could dance well but did not get Mihir’s support. They did give excuse of back pains. However, it was only as excuse as Mihir does not have that dancing rhythm in his body.

   
   




4. Neeru and Amit : Both are very good dancers. They are not married yet , just engaged. They did show up a lot of love in behind the scenes. Neeru is good dancer but a dull face and expressions. Amit is a good dancer. He did not much allow Neeru to speak and very much dominating. I guess, they both should speak for each other.

   
   




5. Shilpa and Apoorva : Both good dancers. However they made most of the excuses. Well, they were never the best. Then why do they have to give excuses? First teeth break , then they are too busy with other shows. Plus Shilpa did mention that Elders are getting Sympathy votes(Guess it was for Sachin-Supriya) and height was – she said if there dads(both ) were alive , they could sat and voted them continuously. Come on Shilpa, Everybody else in the show was busy more or less and you have other relatives, your well wishers, friends to vote, why only dad?

   
   




6. Archana and Permit : A lovely and wonderful pair. Very good dancers. Both had pains and physical downs but they were excellent. The couple is mature and love the family

   
   




7. Delnaz and Rajeev: Finally they got eliminated. Delnaz was good dancer and Rajeev picked up later. But they were just ok. They did survive upto 7 th round only due to vote supports. I admire Rajeev for his attitude towards life. He was always lively and asking for vote was what he enjoyed most.

   
   




8. Rajeshwari and Varun : well, all know that they are Jodi number 1 in case of Dancing. Hats off to their dancing skills and variety they did sow. However their elimination was bit confusing. I thought may be they could not win the votes which would not make them Winners. It looked like more of they themselves opted out. If that’s not correct, is it easy to believe Varun forgetting steps and went blank. Were they very causal about all this and did not bother at all. I did not like few things about this couple- first – They did not ask for votes- even once It is very imp to bde plote and ask for votes though you are best dancers. Especially Varun made some comments which showed attitude guess, that’s why there were getting less votes. Another thing I noticed was in initial rounds varun was Closer to Sangeeta – the anchor than his own wife.

   
   

Now the finalist

1. Poonam and Manish : Poonam is a good dancers , whereas manish is not upto the mark. They reached the finals only due to Poonam’s excellent dancing skills. Manish was bit odd. First I want to see his forehead and I don’t know how he looks from his half covered eyes by his hair. Why? He looked quite ambitious behind the scenes but not a good dancers. He was riding high on Poonam’s support. Their son is very cute.

   
   




2. Sachin and Supriya : Finally the winners. They deserved 100% where they are!. Excellent dance performances at this age. Wonderful attitude towards life – they win hearts surely.
