I ordered a pair of tights in December 2020. I always ordered protein supplements from them so I decided to give their fitness gear a try. Once the order got delivered, the fit wasn't good at all so I decided to get a refund for it.
Once I spoke to the team, I found out that you need to go to the post office and post it to their warehouse address in Haryana. Firstly, the main reason to purchase online was to avoid crowds and purchase at a convenience from home especially in this pandemic.
I still decided to go ahead and post it. The first time around, the post came back as rejected at the warehouse. I contacted the team many times about this over their chat service and they would keep asking if the product was in good condition. I had kept it back as is with tags, followed all their steps and sent it and the package had come back as is. I told them to send a pickup and even said I will pay for it because with Indian work hours its difficult to keep going to the post office during post office hours. It wasn't even my fault that it got rejected and came back. The company did not even have a clue about it by the way.
The company still insisted that I post it again and they even said they will pay for the posting. I posted it again and it got delivered. For more than 15 days after the delivery, I did not receive a single update on whether they received it and let alone my refund of Rs.2500. I again contacted their team(probably for the 15th time) and they again started from scratch(Asking me about the issue and about the product and its condition). They then said they will check with the warehouse. Its been another month since and I haven't received an update on the same. I don't have the tights and nor do I have my refund!
I have been to the post office 3-4 times, chatted with their team since December till now and yet- no refund, no acknowledgement email. This is the worst online purchase experience ever. Something that is supposed to be convenient and seamless is made so difficult by a company as big as Myprotein. I can't believe that they haven't set up a basic delivery system or process. The client has to literally beg for a reply or an email update for their own money. In a country like India where the smallest firm provides a pick up service, this is so unexpected. Forget that, having to co-ordinate for so many months over a pair of tights and the refund.
THEY HAVE LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR GOOD AND I GUESS I JUST HAVE TO ACCEPT THAT I HAVE LOST MY MONEY AND TIME AS WELL.
(I have attached a picture of the delivery status of the product when I posted it the second time)
