I wanted to purchase a hooded sweatshirt and I compared various e-commerce sites like Amazon, Flipkart, YepMe. I found that Myntra was giving discounts for sign up and I got a lot of offers. The refer and earn program was cool. I purchased a Puma Hooded sweatshirt and got discounts of almost Rs. 1000. Here's what I liked -
1) Range of products - This is the ultimate destination for apparels. Almost all the popular sellers that you find in stores are available here.
2) Payment options - All payment options are covered. It supports Debit, credit cards, netbanking and even COD for order above 1000. During festival offers you might face server issues but overall I didn't have problem with this. There's a wallet where you get the failed amount back.
3) App design - Since Myntra is only on app, the design is brilliant and is quite user friendly. It's avaliable on Android, iOS and Windows Phone. The filters and sort work properly. Though Myntra could have kept the website but again you can get those products on Flipkart as Flipkart now owns Myntra.
4) Exchange policy - I couldn't the size of my item online and it was too large for me. So, I placed an exchange return. I got the correct size next time and it fits me well.
Here's what I didn't like -
1) Delivery time - My sweatshirt took me almost a month! and there wasn't any festival rush. They use the same courier of Flipkart i.e. E-Kart Logistics and might have less manpower. This is a serious issue that needs to be addressed.
2) The prices seem to be much higher of Myntra than Flipkart. Do not know why as both of them come under the same hood.
Apart form the delivery time, I have had good experience.
