The recently overly advertised Myntra shopping festival is one big farce, I must say. After being lured and tempted, I tried shopping for some shoes on their App. It took me over 45 minutes to go through(after filtering my requirements) and finally decided on two pair of shoes. They looked truly international and at amazing prizes. Looking at my excited face, my wife fondly reminded me of few hand bags she had browsed on her cell phone. I said that’s next after the shoes. She was thrilled.
My two pairs of shoes had, by now, gone into the cart and the page was set to check me out. But, it simply refused to check me out. I tried several times, but the page will not take me to the payment stage. It hanged itself. Finally, after repeated attempts, a page pops out stating, your cart is empty. That ended my shopping on myntra

Looking at my empty expression, my wife again fondly reminded of the few hand bags she had browsed on her cell phone. I told her about the status of my shoes.
Next day(the offers are now closed), I get a notification that "two items are still waiting to be checked out in your cart". I thought, ‘wow! I can still get those two pairs”. But, the wonderment was short lived as the prices had gone up by almost 100%. And it almost killed me.
Myntra - you need a new mantra to make shopping on apps an easier and less painful exercise.
