Welcome to the Internet zone. I have been using internet for the past 7 years now and now it has become an essential part of my life, almost like a daily routine. In this world of technology internet has become very essential, so much so that computers are introduced even in the school at the primary level. Even a layman will be well versed with the wonders of the net. The first thing I do even before I am wide awake is to check my mails dat proves how addicted I am to the net. Ok cutting a long story short I am gonna list my top ten favourite websites which I think can be beneficial to others too.
So here I go with my list:
1) www dot orkut dot com
My first love is orkut. I am always logged into this site. Even at my work place. This site is similar to friendster. U can find ur old school or college pals on this site. It was established by an engineer who was trying to find his long lost love and it seems from what I have read that he was successful in finding her and now is happily married to her. In the process of finding her he unknowingly created this software n voila it became a huge success in a jiffy.
2) www dot download dot com
Welcome to world of downloading. This is one site where u can download tons n tons of software and if u r a technology freak then u can download stuff like p2p softwares like limeware, bearshare, flash, photoshop, ne messenger, windows media player, real player. Actually any damn software, just name it and I am sure you will find it over here
3) www dot coolgoose dot com aka www dot cooltoad dot com
This site has been renamed as cooltoad. If u r a music lover and if u enjoy bollywood music then this is the right site for u. But the pre requisite is that you should have a broadband connection @ your place coz the downloading consumes lot of time. U can just type in the name of the song/artist u r looking for and download it.
4) www dot google dot com
This site is a boon in disguise for a management student like me. We often have loads of assignments and projects where we have go fishing for the content. Hunting in the library is quite a tedious task. Hence we rather prefer to hunt information on google. Apart from finding content you can search for anything u wish too, even u fav actor/actress pics, any information about a paticular city / movie / vehicle / courses etc etc.
5) www dot raaga dot com
This is a site for true music lovers like me. You can listen to any songs of any particular movie( hindi movies particularly). U dont need to download them in order to listen to them. Just type in the name of the movie in the search bar and it will list all the songs from that movie. You can also listen to old hindi movie songs on this site. But you need to have real player installed before u can listen to the songs. If u do not have real player u can download it from download.com
6) www dot youtube dot com
This is a site where you can upload your own recorded videos. Alternatively you can also search for videos of your favourite shows, songs, movies etc . You can also search for some comic or gag videos which have been hosted by other users for entertainment purpose
7) www dot rediff dot com
I have been surfing this site ever since I learnt internet. I find it very good and informative. It keeps me updated about the latest ongoings in and around our country. Also there are lot of other features like hunting for a job online, posting ur resume, hunting for a life partner, online shopping etc etc.
8) www dot ebay dot com
Now this is a site where u can buy and sell good stuff. If you want to buy any electronic gadgets, cellphones, computer peripherals, watches, shoes, anything actually then this is the right site for you. But u have to be a registered member in order to trade and also make sure ur profile does not show any negative remars or it will not make a good impression on others and they might be a little reluctant in buying things from you
9) www dot bawarchi dot com
This is a site which can be very helpful for hopeless cooks like me:P. In this site u can get recipes of any dish, be it punjabi . gujurati, mexican, italian or continental. Gone are the days where u had to dig those end no of recipe books for a particluar recipe. This site has a very attractive interface and is very easy to access even for housewives.
10) www gang of girls dot com
Being born a female is a pleasure. Here you can treat yourself to the fullest just browsing information and tips about lipsticks, perfumes, accessories nething related to girls. This site is managed by sunsilk and has a very attractive layout, is easy to access too.
So in a nutshell dats my list of my fav top ten websites.
