This is not APJ Kalam giving a countdown to his missle programmes or firing a surface to surface missle on Pakistan after he becomes the President of India. It is just an attempt at writing a countdown reviews here on MS.

Why I wrote this countdown review

I was just browsing the site and reading a few old unread reviews when I came across a name s_imran80. This Sultan Of 5/10 countdown reviews is not to be seen around nowadays. He used to make these reviews seem so very good. Miss him and his countdown reviews a lot at MS. I dedicate this review to Imran.

1. Mera Opinion-Mouthshut.com : Do I have to say anything about this site? Well to know what I feel one will have to read my review on mouthshut.com.

   
   




2. Doodndho Doodndho Re Sajana (Search Gun)( Google.com): Are there any doubts on this on how good this site is & how widely it is used. I don’t think so. Search for information about anything on mother earth, there will be very few times this site will disappoint you. I offers a search in more than 50 languages. The best part about this site is that it allows you to download the google toolbar which will always remain on your webpage like the other options. The Advanced search option in here is a very useful feature.

   
   




3. Jo Chaho Who Paao ( Multi Utility Sites)Yahoo!: Let it be mail, chat, greetings, mailgroups, games, horoscopes, finance, weather ….. you have it all here. I use yahoo for my mail, for chess & greetings sometimes. It is extremely fast. The mail gives a member 6MB space. Very few people know that members also have a 30MB briefcase facility.

   
   




4. Khel Khel Mein ( Sports) - (Cricinfo/Espnstar):The new & improved Cricinfo is the dream site for a cricket crazy fan as me. It gives live scores of any match which is international or any national league. This site has abundance of information about teams & players both current & past about them & their statistics. There are a lot of contests in this site & also cricket mercandise sold through it.

   
   

Espnstar is the site I use for information on other sports. But the main attraction there again is the game they have introduced Super Selector. This game is addictive. There are a well known personalities who write columns in this site viz Harsha Bhogle, Jason Dasey etc. There are also other contests.

1. Gata Rahe Mera Dil (Music) : (Audiogalaxy/Raaga.com) Music holds the same position in my heart as cricket . I hear to all kinds of musik from pop ,jazz, filmi, soft rock to classical (Carnatic & Hindustani) & percussion. For Mp3 Downloads its Audiogalaxy.com. I just love it. I think the caption I have used for Yahoo! ie Jo Chaho woh Pao, meaning you will get what you want , fits here perfectly.

Raaga.com is the site I use for Tamil film music for online hearing. This site fills in for the deficiency of audiogalaxy. All the new releases that are hard to find in audiogalaxy can be heard here. It also provides for hearing on Hindi & Telugu film music.

1. Kya Khabar Hai Jaani (News) (NDTV.com) : All that I miss about the happenings in India through out the day, whether India or World , Sports or Finance and Music & Entertainment . There is a scroll bar for the recent news on top of the web page which updates the recent happenings. It provides for logging into Hotmail.com and also has the google toolbar that I have mentioned above.

(Pakao Aur Khao) ndtvcooks.com is a link provided in the site. For a person who likes to cook & eat, I think this is an ideal site. It provides you with nutritional diets,cooking tips and recipies for Indian, Continenetal ,Oriental Khana etc. One can share his own recipie.

Himachal Ma Ghato Thai Gayo (Stocks) (Sharekhan.com): I have been trading in stocks right since the age of 17 when all the trading was done by calling my broker & asking him rates of stocks & then buy & sell. Its not that I don’t do that now but with the advent of Online trading for both BSE & NSE, its so much easier & without relying on any intermediary.Stock quotes, Online trading , mutual funds or even the business school Sharekhan has it all. The site gives you valuable tips, quotes of the world stock markets, frequent news updates & good articles. For a non finance man they have a link to their biz school which lists down basic & advanced finance concepts. I go thru this part & get to learn from in it, eventhough I am a finance man.All this & a user friendly site makes it one of the best such sites around.

   
   




2. Main Shayar To Nahin : (Poetry.com): I am an amateur poet. Just written about 4 to 5 poetries. Poetry.com like MS is a platform where I can express my feelings to the readers. Moreover one of my poetries has been selected to contest in one of the contests semifinals. Just search on my name & you can read them. I have posted 3 on the site. There are some other MS ians like Pooja & Jaya also have their works posted in the site. Pooja’s poetry too has been selected as mine. So folks go check our works & let us know how they are?

   
   




3. Hasi Mazak To Chahiye Yaar ! (Jokes) (Funtoosh.com):People say Laughter is the best medicine. For me, Its my life. Cant imagine what I would do without it. Funtoosh.com suffices this aspect of my life. Well If not laughter it at least brings a smile.

Corporate Website : (Amul.com): All about Amul, online buying of Amul Products, a few recipies etc. The best part about this site are the Amul Hits. These are the witty Amul Hoardings that you find in the cities. If you don’t find them around better have a check on these each fortnight as these are really good & apt to the current scenario in the country & world.

Morals & Values (Thoughts.com): I make it a point to read a thought each day from here. Most of the thoughts that I post on my profile are from this site. So you see I am not such a bad man.

Reminders of Events (Dairysmart.com): I am very forgetful person by nature. This is the site that gives me reminders about birthdays, Anniveraries etc. Most folks around will need this one.

Wishes & Greetings (Ecards.com) : Diarysmart.com reminds & Ecards.com sends. This is one of the best card sites around.

Just hope that I have stood up to Imran’s level since this is a review for him. Hope he reads this review & comes back to write here
