I would NOT recommend anyone to use Musafir.com for any travel needs. They might offer a cheap price, but when it comes to customer help and issue resolution, they are really BAD and you would not want to ruin your holiday.
We recently had a very BAD experience with Musafir.com.
We booked a land tour for 6 pax with Musafir.com UAE for Paris & Switzerland during the Eid Al Adha break. To ensure we are able to take the benefit of the full tour itinerary of the last day(which was to cover Rhine falls & Black Forest), we took confirmation from ` on the group’s flight details. Accordingly, we booked for the return flight tickets on the same flight in which the group was travelling back as per details provided by Musafir.com which was a 2.40 PM Turkish Airlines from Zurich airport. We also shared our flight booking details with Musafir.com representative which was duly acknowledged.
During the tour when we asked the tour manager on the itinerary of the final day, he kept on saying that this will be shared only on the prior evening. On the evening prior to the final day of the tour, the tour manager informed that the group will be going to Rhine Falls and Black Forest and will return to Zurich airport only by 4.30 PM to catch the group flight at 7.30 PM. When we enquired that the flight was supposed to be at 2.40 PM and accordingly, we had booked the flight, the tour manager informed that he is not aware about this and we need to figure out on our own on what to do. On contacting Musafir.com office at UAE, we were not given any satisfactory reason on why we were not informed about the changes in the last day itinerary. Also, no solution was provided on how will we cover Rhine Falls/ Black Forest since the group bus is only expected to be back to airport at 4.30 PM whereas our flight booking was at 2.40 PM. Both Musafir.com representative and the tour manager refused to provide any resolution. Thus, we missed our visit to Rhine falls and Black Forest and were really disappointed.
This was complete breach of trust and responsibility by Musafir.com. I had paid for the complete land tour which included a trip to Rhine falls and Black forest however due to wrong information provided by Musasfir.com, I got a flight booked for an earlier time than what the group was booked for. Musafir.com did not bother that 6 pax of the group will not be able to take the last day of the tour. Even surprising and disappointing is that Musafir.com did not took any head to my issue and they even did not come forward for any help in the matter.
Even the quality of tour manager provided by Musafir.com was very bad. The person did not provide any knowledgeable information about the place where we visited and, on any questions, his response would be, “please find out on your own”. Despite making a family booking, 2 rooms were assigned on different floors in the hotel and the tour manager refused to provide any help and asked us to contact hotel reception directly. This was completely unprofessional attitude and while I raised this matter with Musafir.com representative in Dubai, they also did not intervene to provide a solution.
India Musafir.com anyways denied helping on the matter, since this was booked from Musafir.com UAE.
