We were planning to go for a family Picnic, so we decided to go to murud janjira some 150kms from Bombay.
We were 6 person in one car left at 8 am for this place as we have heard that it very beautiful it takes 4 hrs to reach there.
We were very happy and enjoying while traveling on the highways, we have heard that there is a fort in side the middle of the SEA and we have to take boat an all these things since we were going First time to this place we had all types of plans in our mind.
We reached Alibaugh in 2 hrs then from there it was 50 kms we moved towards that place, the roads from there were very bad and the rainy seasons had made it more worse.
The journey came to an end after an 4hrs we reached Murud Janjira some how it was 12noon by the time we reached there to my surprise as we reached the Beach we saw all Fisherman with their nets and Boats near the beach, the FORT was far away in the water there was high tide and we couldn’t see any passenger boats near the sea shore and the BEACH WAS VERY VERY DIRTY AND WAS STINKING LIKE HELL. We couldn’t imagine that we have come so far from BOMBAY to see the DIRTIEST beach in MAHARASHTRA, beaches at BOMBAY are 100 times better that.
We were exhausted 4-hrs drive we sat for a wile in the car than we started planning now where to move cauze we couldn’t see a single Tourist there and beach was also very dirty.
So we planned to take a decision as fast as we can as time was running it was already 12 noon. Then we decided to move towards KHANDALA, KHANDALA is on the way to Bombay Pune Highway, back we have to come 100kms from there an then the EXPRESS HIGHWAY which is very beautiful. We reached KHANDALA at 3 PM then went to Bushy Dam we had bath on the rocks an enjoyed till late evening we started our journey at 8 PM from their and reached our home by 10 in the night very exhausted but the trip was worth to us for a new experience next time.
So I do not recommend this place to you people , not worth to drive 150 kms to just see the Dirtiest beach of Maharashtra.
