Since this project was inaugurated by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in June 2006, I was eagerly waiting for the day when it was going to be launched. Finally, the Day came and "The Wait Is Over". The Mumbai Metro was started on Sunday, 8 June 2014. Mumbai Metro covers the distance from Versova to Ghatkopar in 21 minutes that generally take one hour by road.
As soon as I heard about this news, I got very excited about my first ride in Metro. But I wanted to go with my friends so it would be more interesting. At last me and 2 of my friends decided to go together.
As such we reached the Ghatkopar Metro Station we found that it has classy and clean platform. We also found the swanky ticket(Tokens) and checking counters. Customer care centers have been established to listen the needs and complaints of customers. The overall environment was just Awesome. We took the ticket and just run towards the platform. After 2-3 minutes the train arrived, doors opened and we entered into metro. It was just like my imagination Clean, Cool, and Comfortable. We started clicking the pictures and took so many selfies. we tried to capture the entire internal area of metro in our camera as well as area outside the window. It was totally worth to spend a day with your buddies in Mumabi Metro.
So, If you have not traveled yet in Metro I would recommend you to travel at least Once, Its worth to have such a nice experience.
