With airtel for two years my experience was ' take it or leave it attitude as if I am being done a big favour by airtel', they refused to shift my connection when I shifted house. So I have dumped atel and gone for MTNL. At least no fraud bills now, no sudden change of plan bill, MTNL speed is good. But rains cause disruption of MTNL which they will repair by next day only that's the glitch. Their lines are all open and use bad hardware for networking.
The router (wireless) is pretty good, but the rent of 75 plus tax is high Speed- is excellent. 100 free calls are a good value. Its the cheapest service at present as others have raised their rates sky high. I will recommend MTNL as a good alternative from most private operators who have now become over-confident and rude.
Cheers to MTNL. Its 6 months now and I am happy with MTNL. No downtime. Lower costs.
