Just three days old and I am feeling a very part of the community already. I've been hooked to the internet for a long-long time but dunno how, I never came across mouthshut. Anyway I am happy, at last I am here and a part of it.
In these three days(just these two days). I've recognized several features that have set back Mouthshut from being a better place.
The first thing I noticed was that it's a great place to be, to write and to be read. But one serious set back was the text only. What I mean is that one can write the review only in plane text that too with almost no formatting(if you forget Bold and italic).
Of course one may argue that the best of writers can explain even the most complex topics in pen and paper. But then they were great writers(let's just say writer) and they were not really writing a review. Review is something(I feel so) of something that exists, something that people may opt to buy, use, etc and hence I feel If graphics were allowed then reviews could me much more informative and worthwhile.
I agree to that fact that graphics come along with there own problems. Of them being bandwidth. But what the site can do is, keep the present review writing open for all and for the special ones, let them be put up only after they have been reviewed by a site employee or a volunteer. If including graphics is a big deal I would sincerely request to put up better formatting tools.
That's just what I wanted to speak.
This is not a review, it's just a suggestion.
