Hi Mr/Ms reader,

I'm the proud owner of this cellphone (used proud to make this sentence sound like a cliche, am not even close to proud!). A few things you might have to know about this, before you buy one. The memory space is only 5MB, so if you are a person who carries his music world/ photo world with him, this IS NOT the cell phone for you.

I've been using this cell for more than an year now( PS: anyone willing to take this from me, please get in touch with me).The first thing that hits you is how heavy the phone is. Its like carrying a heavy artillery weapon.Women, please keep off.. my hands get tired of carrying this.

Let me talk something good. The camera is pretty decent, and most of my snaps have come out good. Yes, it has a camera.

The USB cable is enuf if you just want to upload/download songs/photos.

It supports mp3 which is good. But do let me know if you find a decent mp3 with size less than 5 MB...he he he and you are eating away the entire space now, so no more photos.

And, no IR port or bluetooth. Technology hadnt caught up when the phone was born.

And I faced a problem with this cell phone within the warranty period. And I take care of my cell like a baby.I dont expose to sunlight,rain...

The display was screwed and had to replace it completely. Thankfully, this time I got a free service for something cos it didnt get screwed just after an year.

Btw, I saved almost 1.3K in repairing this one. Lesson learnt, got to be handled real carefully, more than your baby.

Reception is decent, I havent had problems with it.

For grown up kids who enjoy old video games and who were playing POP (if you didnt understand this, then I know you dont play games, anyways its Prince Of persia), you hav a game in here.Pretty nice.

Battery Charge sucks, as in any motorola phone. (Motorola employee only: Please do something about this, dude!.I dont want to carry my charger to my bathroom also).

Btw, the picture you see in mah profile, was taken from this beauty.

Nothin more to write about the phone...

Last comment: Dont buy this phone unless you want to gift it to your ex-es or your boss.

Nice write up. Well, from your review I understand this cell phone is a bit heavy one. We ladies prefer to have light ones when it comes to cell phones. It may be the other way round for men.

Take care. Priya

Dear Pete,
Trend now is towards, lighter phones, its not gender-biased. Of course, with men, they might like to carry heavy phones, (along with a heavy wallet..).Who knows?

By the look of the things that you've written, I dont think this phone is worth 'not recommending', but hey thats my own view! I use a Nokia 6101, which too is a bit on the heavier side and has lesser memory (3.5 MB) than your phone. You can refer to...my review on it to get more details.

Have a nice day,
Anuj
