To, Managing Director, Motorola India Sir/Madam, This is to complain about the unprofessional, irresponsible & arrogant attitude of Motorola India’s service center employees. I had purchased a Motorola cellphone in Hyderabad 2 years ago. Six months later, I moved to my native town Muzzaffarpur. One day while I was talking on the phone, its screen suddenly went blank.

Since that day my cellphone remains completely kaput. I took the mobile phone to the local Motorola service center in Muzzaffarpur for repairing. First of all they were not at all ready to check it saying that the phone was not purchased in Muzzaffarpur, despite it being well within the cover of warranty period. What kind of nonsense excuse is that? After much pestering your technician finally looked into the cellphone and within minutes told me that it cannot be repaired here and advised me to take it to Patna.

I took that corpse of that Motorola phone to Patna and there they simply refused to repair it giving that same stupid excuse that it was “not a domicile of Patna”. And then they advised me to take that phone to Bangalore for further treatment. Neither have I had the time nor resources to go to Bangalore just to repair a cellphone. Meanwhile the warranty period expired and the Motorola service centres people got another wonderful excuse for not repairing my phone. Motorola India’s “world-famous” service centres people have turned my brand new mobile phone into a complete e-waste.

My cellphone is lying dead since 1 year and I am clueless where to bury its cold body. I am helpless and don’t know where to go. Was it a mistake to buy Motorola product? Is this your corporate resposibilty towards your customers? I ask Motorola officials what to do with my defunct mobile phone? Where do I dump this useless e-waste and destroy our eco-system? What are you going to do, Motorola?
