Disappointed with Fire XT. Review on Motorola Fire XT 530

Hello EveryOne, after a long time, m here for writing a review based on my personal experience on “Motorola Fire XT - 530”. I am using this device since last 6 months & till now have faced a lot of problems that I want to share with you all. If  someone planning to buy this phone, may be my review helps them to re-think before buying:(

Why I Selected Motorola Fire XT – 530:

As there were so many Android based Smart phones available in the Market, But I liked this phone’s design & look very much. Even one of my friend too suggested me to buy this phone as he has a superb knowledge about all these gadgets & this device is cheaper as compared to other Android Smartphones(with the same features as Moto - Fire XT) and with the front camera for Video calling feature So I decided to go with this mobile phone as per my friend suggestion & starting 2 to 3 months, I was fully satisfied with this device but after that it started giving problem like heating. Even though there were a lot Qwerty keypad phones but I really don’t like such qwerty keypad .

=Motorola Fire XT(XT530) Basic Specifications:=

Motorola Fire XT530 has TFT capacitive touchscreen  with 3.5 inches  & Size of 320 x 480 pixels, ( i.e – approximately 165 pixel density & with Touch-sensitive controls). This phone runs on Android Gingerbread OS. It supports 3G & Wi-Fii connectivity, has 5 MP primary camera with auto flash & VGA secondary camera. It also has LED flash  & Video recording capability, 800 MHz Processor & 512 MB of RAM. Except these. It can supports upto 32 GB memory capacity but internal memory is very low.

What I Like about this phones:

1. Design & Look.

   
   




2. Considering budget below 10K, Its best mobile.

   
   




3. Dual Camera.

   
   




4. Video Calling feature.

   
   




5. Camera with Flash light, So one can click pictures at night also:).

   
   




6. Sound quality with headset.

   
   

Problems associated with the device:

1. At some time, phone gets heated & after that stopped responding needs to restart it again otherwise it won’t work.

   
   




2. After switching it ON, it takes too many time to load contacts.

   
   




3. Internal memory is very less, so avoid installing too many apps on this mobile.

   
   




4. Not so great for Internet usage as after using for some time, Battery heating and draining issues.

   
   




5. The phone is very slow, At some point it takes too much time to load my photos from photogallery.

   
   




6. Though it has 5 MP camera, but picture quality is not so good.

   
   




7. Battery backup is poor.

   
   




8. Touch is not much sensitive to respond. even sometime its very difficult to press back button.

   
   




9. Sometimes Apps not responding, Shows force close.

   
   

Final Words:

As per the specification available in the android market, Motorola Fire XT-530 is an affordable Android device also it gives good competition to other devices like some Samsung & HTC devices. The problems look more for software than hardware. However, the poor display quality and slightly bad nature of the touch screen is a great disappointment from this device. Despite a good price point and specs, the Motorola XT530 fails to give a great experience & lack of performance. So think carefully before planning to buy Motorola Fire XT – 530.

P.S: Its not a great but okay phone. PLEASE AVOID IT. There are better phones in the Android Market that are better than this one.
