A 388 is the one I have, done 3 repairs in last 2 yrs and from the first 6 months onwards it is giving problem with the battery. The battery capacity is very low (as with all the Motoroal mobiles) and every half hr you have to switch it on. There was a problem with the touchpad as well, but after a repair it is working fine. The Though it is very robust, but the battery is week and also its slow operating system sometimes gets you on your nerves. other problem is you do not have an option of vibration+ring simultaneously. The ring tones are bad as well. You cannot download ringtones, games anything!!
I wont recommend a Motorola be it this model or otherwise as its resale value is very low (i cudnt sell it for even 1K!! after a yr, as most of the resellers tell motorola has battery problems.
