There are several types of scams in this world, but the biggest is always will be scamming people of money. The Monster.com is very much pro in doing that
What's monster.com :
A job portal where an end user can upload his profile and apply for job and get calls from recruiters
A database access for recruiters and hiring companies so that they can filter out their specific candidates profiles and calls for interviews
These are two usually happens in every job portal
But there's number 3 & 4
Instead of giving database/our personal data access to hiring companies they SELL at high prices to banks, nbfc, brokers, real estate agents, freelancers, insurances, fake companies, spammers, fraudsters etc
They ask money for profile upgrade or highlighting the job seeker profile or resume building etc they charge money and stops responding to candidates calls & emails
Monster a spam website, majority of the job seekers don't pay attention to it..
If you upload your profile instead of getting calls from recruiters, you'll get calls from loans, credit cards, brokers, real estate, insurance etc. Few of them defraud of your money..
They clearly sell our data to other agencies,
I approached an employee on LinkedIn and asked and he confirmed it too that they sell data to anyone even if it's spam or brokers or real estate, they don't care they just need money
If you don't trust me take a new number upload it on the website as a jobseeker along with your resume, wait for 2 to 3 days you start getting fake calls, spam calls from banks, credit cards, personal loans, etc
I have experienced and tried deleting my profile, after one month of inactivity and uninstalling the app i still get calls and they say they got my number from monster.com
This is a data misuse, i don't know NAUKRI.com does this but this is not a safe place to upload your personal details
Forget about jobs.. you won't even have mental peace, you might lose money and time for fake job calls and interviews
Ask their employees they'll tell the truth
