Cafe Mondegar in Colaba is one of the iconic restaurants in Mumbai.It is one of the places you have to visit when you are in Mumbai.
I used to visit it frequently with my friends during my college days. Its a fun place to hang out.Infact it's also the favorite hangout place for expatriates and foreigner tourists. You will always find it full of them.
The ambiance is nice and full of music and energy. You will always find young and hip crowd there. The walls are decorated in old style murals and paintings and the decorations are cozy and warm.
The food is delectable and quickly served. You also get a wide range of drinks here. Drinks are the main reason people visit Mondegar. Don;t forget to order a pitcher of your favorite bear.
The prices are also reasonable. You can easily get a meal for 2-3 people in INR 1500/-The portion size could be better but then it is enough for 1 person.You should avoid it at peak time though, it tends to get crowded with people waiting for tables.
And best to visit with friends, wil be a memorable experience.
