In my previous review I had decided to go for CEDIA. Here I am ... writing what I like in Cedia and what not.

LOVE --- The Mitsubishi Logo. Japanese technology is always more reliable than Korean / US stuff. Moreover it a rally breed. Test drive reveal the 2000cc engine power. It zoom past feista's / accent / verna likes like anything. suspension is great. I drive in the damaged "bylane" at Mathura Road, Delhi near the "railway overbridge". Cedia handles all pots and bumps quite easily. The interior is classy with unique wrap-around dash-board. The leather looks/feels is good. The steering is great to hold... its soft...feel ... good and strong. The Mitsubishi logo over it looks sexy...

I was wondering why the horn works only when I press the logo at the centre of the steering. I was told that it is because of new pollution norms that now all cars will have only a central location over steering wheel from where the horn will work.. not like earlier... you can press anywhere over steering to honk....

Good... love this norm. Seating is good and LOW-RIDE ... which adds to comfort of long drives. Boot is spacious. In fact I personally don't like the current trend of "Jelly bean" shape of cars like SX4 / Feista / Verna - it is a current European fad which is coming into India. But I like my car to be sleek / mean... like Cedia. Not "fatty" Feista / Verna / SX4. Ground clearance is good. Keyless entry make is more secure. ABS and EBD makes braking more secure and reliable. I was reading somewhere that CEDIA has the minimum stopping distance as compared to cars of her class. Dual Airbags on both driver and co-passenger side makes it more secure for family. Chasis is strong.

I just read in the last month "Overdrive" magazine that CEDIA has won the recent car rally held in Cochin beating all other cars... That was obvious... because of its EVO 2 breed.

HATE - The marketing policy of HM. Why not much of print / e-media adv. I had been told that now Mitsubishi has increased their inteference or involvement in HM and things especially marketing will improve in time to come. I am waiting for that day.

Because mouthshut don't allow one person to write more than one review on a particular product. I am forced to add a comment.. but its me again - ALOKARYAN.

So finally, I buyed MITSUBISHI CEDIA on 17/06/07. I buyed it from Asian Motors, nice people to buy car from. I am telling you this beauty is a piece of ENVY on the road. You can see in the rear view mirror people turning heads to see it. Its sheer powerful engine / its unique front grill that looks really mean and strong (i like that looks in my car, atleast) / the inside ... virtually everything is fantastic. Cedia moves like anything... omph... factor.

I had taken it to Vivek Vihar (i regret that moment, I will tell you why) to get some "anti theft" devices installed, as everybody does. I asked the shop-keeper whether you can fit it into CEDIA or not, means you are comfortable with the electricals of CEDIA? As ususal, for getting business he promptly says YES. After he started working I had a feeling that he is not getting the things, properly and using "Hit and Try" on my BRAND NEW CEDIA. After 2.5 hours or more of fung wait and all his tries over my CEDIA, when he says everything is fine you can check the system. TO my SURPRISE.....

The SRS led is coming up on dashboard. I asked him why SRS led is coming up, he has no answers. I called Asian Motors at around 10:15 pm in night... to find out if there is somebody to help me out. The security there had given me the cellphone number of Mr. Bhaskar of Asian Motors. When he asked that shopkeeper whether he has the "circuit diagram" of CEDIA he says "NO". Then Mr. Bhaskar told me to remove everything he has installed and come tommorow......

When I reached Asian Motors tommorow. After all inspections and everything, they had told me what that "bull-shit guy" had done. He had short-curcuited the EPM (or something like that) of SRS system, because he don't know the circuit of CEDIA. And that will cost me INR 17, 300.00. As this is tampering and job done from outside, the warranty does'nt apply.... I feel bad and sad ... but to be honest... that is right.

So friends, PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CEDIA TO LOCAL MECHANICS / CAR SHOWROOMS FOR ANYTHING. THEY DON'T KNOW SH*T ABOUT THIS CAR. IF YOU WANT ANYTHING INSTALLED, BUY THAT EQUIPMENT AND GO STRAIGHT TO YOUR DEALER TO GET THE JOB DONE.

FURTHER... DO NOT INSTALL, GEAR LOCK ... AS THEY HAVE "SRS SENSOR" RIGHT BELOW / NEAR THE GEAR SHIFT. YOUR LOCAL "SON-OF-bH" DON'T KNOW THIS.

I had learned, from my mistake... so I am warning you.
