I was looking for Indian ethnic, in a different country, to attend a destination wedding. The site seemed to have a good collection, so I decided to give it a chance.
I have been a seasoned online shopper-myntra, flipkart, Amazon, Lazada, if there is a site that offers online shopping, I have used it.
I didn't even think a site could offer éasy returns on their webpage, and then provide cheap replicas of the stuff displayed on site, and refuse to provide refunds.
I had ordered a kurta and palazzo set in Pakistani design.
The stitching was horrible, the neck was changed from boat neck to a round neck, the embroidery was not the same as shown. You could just see it wasn't the same product.
When I asked for a return and refund, the customer care first offered me 20% refund, then went quiet when I asked for full refund. Their customer care agreed that the product showed significant differences from what I had ordered, asked me to send some more pictures and then just went quiet.
It looks like they have even blocked my number, so I cannot get through to them anymore.
The return button on the site just shows the terms and conditions for return and takes the user nowhere after that. There are no instructions on where to send the product etc either. This feels like a fraud.

After much follow up on email, and filing a consumer complaint, I started getting responses again. Now they are saying because it is a replica, they cannot offer more than 40% refund. Something that they don't tell you on the site before you buy the product.
This is a fraud company with fraud products. We need to wisen up. They should actually be sued, so they understand that they can't be taking innocent customers for a ride without serious consequences.
