Microsoft Lumia 535: Phone Review
I have used this phone for 6 months and, I have to admit that, this piece from Microsoft was worth every penny spent on it. The cost of the phone then was 9100, which has now reduced to some 6700, and for the current price, the phone can be sorted to best buy category.
Though Windows 8.1 interface with Denim Skin stands as one of the main highlights, camera is yet another remarkable factor; it has a 5MP primary with flash and 5MP secondary camera, which not only offers better images rear, but also gives best selfies.
Cortana feature is something Windows phones has to boast about, for its being a perfect personal assistant. The phone has a 5inch screen which offers wider images and even offers wide-angle shots to selfies.
The phone has a RAM of 1GB and internal storage of 8GB, both of which are reasonable, the memory card slot being expandable to 128GB. Though the RAM is 1 GB, I played games with size bigger than 1.25GB, that too without any hang with other applications running.
The inbuilt MS Office, live tiles, different interface and long lasting battery power make the phone a great experience at that price. The processor is Snapdragon 200, which offers bit slowness still, the performance is satisfactory. The phone could’ve had bigger inbuilt memory space. Lack of clarity in low light photos is the only con that can be found in this phone. The outlook is also appealing with different colors offered, the orange being preferably best. Overall, the first phone from Microsoft stands to its brand name with the best one can get from this price!
