MICROMAX?? BEST LOW BUDGET PHONE?? AND MY ANSWER IS YES.. Q5 is a cell phone that m using since the last 5 months, and I must say I am very impressed by this phone.. Before buyin this cell phone was in a dilemma whether to buy this cell or not!! and now I think I made a right choice to buy it.. IS IT ANOTHER CHINA MOBILE?? And my answer is NO.. you get a company WARRANTY OF 1 YEAR.. And no China phone gives you a warranty..
It gives you a feel of business phone, and supports dual sim.. It has a QWERTY keypad, msg typing is very easy.. The functions of this phone is very user friendly.. It has a trackball for navigation of UP, DOWN, LEFT and RIGHT.. Believe me it feels good to use it besides someone using a BLACKBERRY.. hehehehe.. It has a good solid body.. I have a black and silver color micromax Q5.. it has application for Facebook inbuilt in it and many more softwares like opera mini, im mesenger etc.. The WAP sped is very good.. It has got fm radio for tuning to your favorite music on the go.. It has a music player which supports midi, mp3, wav and amr files..It has a good sound quality with and without the earphone.. It also has 2 games, both r puzzle games..
It has got a decent camera of 2 megapixel.. Supports a digital zoom of 4x.. also supports video recording, but the video quality is poor.. It has a in built memory of 15mb.. 1000 phone book entries and 1000 sms can be stored in the phone, 500 entries for each sim card.. memory card is not provided by the company but it supports a memory card upto 8 Gb.. The best part about this cell is its battery life.. I have personally used it and hence saying this.. The talk-time that I have got for continuous talking was 5 hrs.. The standby time for me was 3 days (only messaging and less talkin)..
It has Bluetooth connectivity.. Does not support Infrared and WiFi.. It has USB support for connectivity with the pc.. supports mms also..A conference call is also supported.. All these features I got it at the cost of 3, 900 rupees.. Wasn't a bad bargain isn't it??
The only problem I have faced with this cell is that if you are on the call already and someone sends you a message that message will not be delivered to you till the time you hang up the call.. Apart from this I had no problems with the cell..
Twice my cell phone has been mishandled (fell from my bed and my sister had thrown it in anger) but its still working properly..
Will end by saying its a best buy for people who are not brand conscious and who are looking out for dual sim good looking and god performance phones..
