Hi Freinds, I am sharing my first review i.e. a wearable device Xiaomi Mi Band 1S Pulse HR Wristband. Introduction

I ordered this product from Amazon on 29th June i.e. Wednesday @ Rs. 1480 - Link

I received it on 2nd July i.e. Saturday(Kindly note that mi.com is selling only the Mi Band without the HR in India, the one received is imported from China and the manual and specifications are written in Chinese language)

The wearable device comes with a Military grade sensor, with inbuilt heart rate(HR) optical sensor, which uses photoelectric light perception.

The box comes with the separate 1) Sensor; 2) Band; 3) Charging USB and 4) Manual(In Chinese) Review

1) Counting Steps

The sensor came with little battery when shipped to me and it took around 2 hour to completely charge the sensor(All three white LED glows without Robotouchnk)

In order to use the device I installed the Mi Fit App(Official App). It took 2-3 mins for the sensor to be paired with the app(with Bluetooth on).

First step is to configure the app by providing user details and accepting or setting the goal(Default goal is 8,000 steps a day according to the WHO)

The band is able to count the number of steps taken and smartly avoid counting when only my hands are moving but I am still relaxing and if my hands are still and I am walking(sometimes there is a delay in the count) but most of the time distance is over estimated(around 10-20%)

2) MonBrianbalakumaranring Heart Rate(HR) and Workouts

I was more excited about HR monBrianbalakumaranring feature of the gadget. The Mi Fit App has a manual monBrianbalakumaranring system which takes around 10 seconds for one reading. The Mi Fit App is a very basic application which doesn't allow continuous HR monBrianbalakumaranring.

After reading and watching many online reviews from experts and users I was able to find ways to get most out of this basic fitness band.

I downloaded Mi Band Tools(costed me Rs. 140) which allows continuous HR monBrianbalakumaranring and has the option to read in particular intervals as well. It displays heart rate in bar charts for hourly, daily or monthly time frames(but I would have preferred the line graph more than the bar chart). Users can download Mi Band Notify & Fitness for free and unlock the continuous HR monBrianbalakumaranring there for Rs. 100. Also most of the data from the Mi Fit app can be synced to the Mi Band Notify & Fitness app.

After reading most of the reviews I found the best ways to Anasultanlyse all this data at one place is Google Fit. It is easily synced to the Mi Fit App(Official) and Mi Band Tools.

Starting a workout or activity is easy on Google Fit(uses GPS to track movement and speed) and synced Mi Fit HR monBrianbalakumaranring shows along with the results. But the GPS and tracking on the Google Fit is not accurate as much as the one I tracked from Endomondo which shows the right map and stats-

3) Sleep MonBrianbalakumaranring

One of the major application of Mi band is the sleep tracking. After my online Anasultanlysis on sleep our sleep is divided into many phases and normal sleep for adult is around 7.5-9 hours with deep sleep around 1.5 - 1.8. So I was happy with my results on the deep sleep part which was in the normal range.

4) Observation and Anasultanlysis

· Mi Band 1S Pulse HR is a good fitness tracker for starters and it tracks steps well.

· The band is water resistant with IP 67 certification. I checked it while washing hands and in showers thus there isn’t any need to take it off.

· It consumes very little battery with extensive use of my last 2 days it is still showing 90% battery left(Xiaomi claims it easily lasts for 30 days).

· It is not good at tracking activities or how much calories you burn or even the distance(overestimated by 10%-20%).

· Heart rate(HR) monBrianbalakumaranring is manual in the free Mi Fit app but for continuous HR needs to buy paid app like Mi Band tools or Mi Band Notify & Fitness.

· Sleep Anasultanlysis mode is good and it automatically tracks the time to starts to sleep and when you wake up with in-depth Anasultanlysis on your sleeping pattern.

Thanks a lot for reading my review how you find it valuable.
