Ok guys, I’m back into music mode – doing what I enjoy doing the most – being a music reviewer. This album went along quite unnoticed, as the film wasn’t the greatest of its time! It could be called an average Bollywood album – but its still got nice tunes!

Track 1 – Ek Ladki
----------------------------------
This is a sweet track sung by Udit Narayan. Here, the hero remembers his best friend and all her quirky little habits. It has a nice melody and sweet https://lyrics.At this point, the hero doesn’t realise he loves his friend but soon it dawns upon him as he shifts through the song. Udit has done a brilliant job –

aaj kal…har wo beeta pal….jo uske saath mein….
kya kahoon….khwabon mein aata hai kyon…..
yaad jo aaye to….bicharne ki wo ghadi…..
kya kahoon….dil dukh sa jaata hai kyon….

Track 2 – Sharara Sharara
----------------------------------
C’mon guys, who doesn’t know this song? This song rocked the nation! Ashaji sounds young as ever and the melody and lyrics are nice. It’s a great song to dance to and is played frequently at hindi discos here!

shola hai ye tan mera….are dekho tum paas na aana…
shamma ke jo paas aaya….are jalta hai wohi parwana….
mere deewano….baat ko samjho…..door se dekho….
mera ye nazaara….

Track 3 – Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai
----------------------------------
The main track of this film, this is an average Bollywood track. There’s nothing wrong with it, its just a little boring. Udit Narayan,Abhijeet and Alka Yagnik all sing well. Music and lyrics are on the average side – one you can skip unless you’re in a real shaadi-style mood!

saathi…..sunle…..bole jo ye angna….
ye man….jeevan….pyar ke rang mein rangna….
has degi teri chudi….khankenge kangna…..
saathi sunle re…

Track 4 – Jaage Jaage
----------------------------------
This is the most beautiful track on this album. Sung wonderfully by Sonu Nigam and Alka Yagnik, this song has a wonderful romantic feeling to it. The lyrics and music are beautiful – one to hum along to with your loved one!

chup rehna chaha tha…..reh na sake…..
phir bhi jo kehna tha….keh na sake….
tum mujhse kuch bhi kaho na kaho….
aise to khoye hue na raho…..

Track 5 - Humne Suna Hai
----------------------------------
This is a situational song, which doesn’t sound too good out of the movie. Here, a variation of different male playbacks are teasing Alka Yagnik about her lover, and if he’s suitable. It has a hummable tune – but one the whole, not one of my favourites!

yeh to batado….humein samjhado….
hai kis gharane ka wo…..
wo nahi aisa waise….nahin tumhare jaisa….
hai naye zamane ka wo….

Track 6 – Hum Dono Jaisa
----------------------------------
This is the ultimate dance track of the season! Its got peppy beats, a great funky tune and a mesmerising dance routine. One to be played at all parties, sung really well by K.K. and Sunidhi Chauhan - go listen to it!

koi kyun na mila….kyun ho iska gila….

Mere dil ko…..
Hope I wasn’t too out of practise at giving my usual boring music reviews!
