Abida Parveen** is a rarity in the world of Sufi music, a female Singer. She is the daughter of prominent Pakistani vocalist Ustad Ghulam Haider. she is known for her particularly stunning voice.

for those who don't know much about her I can say she is a singer comparable with Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. In India Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is more famous than Abida Parveen because of his contribution to indian film Music.

Sufi singing is a passionate offerings to God. The Magic of Abida parveen’s voice capable to bring the listener’s heart to resonate with the music. MERE DIL SE is a sufi album having 7 wonderful songs, each song is composed beautifully with different music instruments to add the correct blend with the content.

A phiosohical touch with classical music . sexophone in the back ground makes u feel like u are diluting ur self within it .

written by Hazrat Sachal Sarmast A song full of Sufi masti. I love this song one of my favourite in this album.

Hazrat Waris Shah:- lovely santoor played with the music, makes u feel peace within inside .the alaap taken at the start of this song is wonderful

Main Naraye Mastana:- one more song with sufi masti filled in each word . lovely sexophone used again with this song. Another one favourite of mine in this album.

The song starts with the quote of Miraabai and the flute used with the song is amazing.

*The album is a treat for people who like sufi music. and for those who don’t listen normally sufi music I would recommand them to listen it once atleast. A must to keep in your collection .
