The way Mela prepares its nourishment is not the same as some other Indian restaurant I've ever gone to - curries aren't excessively luxurious and the flavors are mind-boggling and delicious. I came here two days consecutively and requested the CHICKEN CHOLAY, CHICKEN KEEMA, and RAS MALAI, joined by a bowl of rice:
Stars:
Generous servings. I came here avaricious and had enough remains to make a little supper for the following day
The CHICKEN CHOLAY is overflowing with enhancing - a delectable mix of bone-in chicken, chickpeas, tomato sauce, sprinkled with a touch of caraway seed for that additional dash of flavor
I would likewise prescribe the CHICKEN KEEMA, a bowl of ground chicken cooked in a light tomato sauce, joined by your selection of peas or potato. I picked peas, which gave a pleasant, sweet complexity to the flavorful chicken
The rice is entirely great. Not very overcooked, not very delicate
Service here is awesome. I came here with a companion and our 2 dishes most likely took around 10 minutes or less. Over that, my water container was never unfilled - the servers here are to a great degree mindful and continue returning for refills
Cons:
- The RAS MALAI was flavorful, in spite of the fact that not precisely to my enjoying. It was a bit spongy on the surface, less like a cheesecake than anticipated. The flavors were all around built up: the cheesecakes are showered in the sweetened drain, rose, and pistachio
I'll certainly have returned to test Mela's numerous different offerings.
